Assessment

Overall, a good system. The XP shoot up a little fast for my taste, but it doesn't matter in the long run, as it makes the more difficult monsters easier to throw at the characters, thereby making the game a little bit more fast paced and interesting. I don't like AoOs, either...they don't make sense as written. They do a good job of keeping the lists of wants longer than the lists of haves.

Assessment

It's very difficult to find players that will play. I especially like the emphasis on psychology...it makes it seem like a slightly more intelligent game. It goes a bit slow at first, but the story makes up for it pretty quickly. It's apparently difficult to quit playing, once started, which is probably why it got such a bad rep. among even hard core players. Maybe that and the lack of monsters that can be easily killed in exchange for XP and gold.
